'Humankind has not woven the web of life. We are but one thread within it. Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves. All things are bound together. All things connect.' ~Chief Seattle, Duwamish

I hear you, Jimi. I'm looking for My Inner Peace.. Note: A Roli Seaboard has joined my humble studio stable. I am not worthy, as it arrived with my mind, pre-blown. And Marco? Rock on my friend..

Before Facebook & Snapchat, before marriages & mortgages, before legal age & legal you know, before paychecks & taxes, and even before the Internet, dinosaurs roamed the dystopian earth in black and white. Before the world that we will never forget, all we had was youth, opportunity & time. We lived like there was no tomorrow, because we didn’t know if tomorrow would ever come.
We faced death at every turn of our path; death from nuclear missiles, the Vietnam war, the draft, and death from drugs, fast cars and alcohol. We lived in a world much like the drivers training film we were forced to watch - Red Asphalt 3. We lived fast, angry, boring times, separated by beautiful moments of ecstasy. But what did we do with all that time? Well, we were young, restless and bored, so sex, drugs and rock ‘n roll mostly. The music was loud, face melting, analog mind bending rock ‘n roll. ‘Only the good die young’, they said, and for us, so for us, there was no tomorrow, only today. And for those brief moments in time, we were immortal. And then, those glorious moments faded into a blurred reality of responsibility, instant messages, braces and healthcare bills, college tuition and nursing homes, track homes and career tracks, rat races & ultimate exhaustion. If I had a time machine, young blood, I would close my eyes and travel back to that land before time in a heartbeat. Looking back, life, as we knew it then, it was good my friend. It was very good. But as Blind Faith said, 'Come down off your throne and leave your body alone Somebody must change You are the reason I've been waiting so long Somebody holds the key But I'm near the end and I just ain't got the time And I'm wasted and I can't find my way home Come down on your own and leave your body alone Somebody must change You are the reason I've been waiting all these years Somebody holds the key But I can't find my way home But I can't find my way home Still I can't find my way home And I ain't done nothing wrong But I can't find my way home..' ~Steve Windwood
What is life?
It is the flash of a firefly in the night. It is the breath of a buffalo in the wintertime. It is the little shadow which runs across the grass and loses itself in the sunset. --Attributed to Crowfoot (ca 1830-1890), chief of the Canadian Blackfoot tribe.
