Music as Medicine

You know that 'high' you get when you listen to just the right Music? What if we could entrain our minds to discover that exact Music and lessen the need for Drugs in Pain Mitigation?

That's what I'm working on right now - Music as Medicine - a project to 'Increase Patient Autonomy and Empowerment by increasing Patient control of their environment to heal faster, feel better about clinical treatment, be less susceptible to drug abuse, and be discharged from a clinical setting sooner – all while improving the Patient Experience.'

My latest song 'Worlds Without End' is part of a Playlist designed meet some of these goals for Patients, Caregivers and others, with natural sounds, binaural beats and a gradually slowing tempo. Headphones on - find a quiet moment - take your heart rate at the start of the song, and then again at the end to see if it slows you down just a little. This meditative Playlist is just one aspect of my patent pending Patient Experience system - coming soon to your ears; mind, body and soul.

Peace my friends - s
tay tuned - I hear you.

Me: That was great. But I have to leave now.
RFQ: Why?
Me: I have to go home and burn my guitar. Be back after intermission.. cheers.
A virtuoso guitarist with an incredible story of the power of one... you must listen.

Mystery, murder and insanity.. this guy is speaking to me. What writers watch to hone the craft of storytelling.. and composers listen to hear how terror and insanity creep slowly into the soul..
