Great Doodle Dog
My name is Neli, and I'm a Great Doodle. Originally from Minnesota; my dad is a brindle standard Poodle and mom is a harlequin Great Dane. I spend much of my time hiking the mountains of Colorado with my trusted companion, g. Together, we seek out the sights, sounds and smells of... America. And yes, I'm writing a book of my observations that should be out in a few months, so stay tuned! Wait for it...

“Walk into the light, g says.
I have many fears beyond the imaginary locomotive at the end of the tunnel. Noises in the garage, a doorbell, suspicious men in brown shorts carrying packages; like an untimely death, I fear them all.
Decisions are hard; the red pill or the blue pill – I could end up in the Matrix, or worse, I may already be in the Matrix and not know it. On the other hand, G’s never led me to my doom, in fact, quite the opposite. The light and the tunnel may lead to the parking lot, the jeep, and a tasty treat for my blind trust.
So here I stand like Schrödinger's cat, staring down this dim lit tunnel. I am both alive and dead until I walk into that light - the train or the treats. I must choose, and I will live or die with the outcome, I get it, life is about choices. G says we only get three things in life; time choices and consequences; today, I get all three here in this tunnel.
Ok, maybe I’m over thinking this one, we walk this way every day, why would a train show up today? Wasn’t it James Altucher that said, “Don't time travel into the past, roaming through the nuances as if they can change. Don't bookmark pages you've already read.” Move on, Schrödinger, step into the light.
Trust does not come easily to me, but I’m working on it. What the hell, I like treats. Besides, g’s taking point, that’s why he’s pack leader." ~Neli
